Who Is Virgil Roberts?

I am Virgil Roberts, photographer and creative from Airville, Pennsylvania. I lived in Lancaster City until I was eight years old when we moved to Airville to live among the Amish community. The slower lifestyle allowed plenty of time to simply take in the world around us.

I’ve always enjoyed taking pictures with any camera I could get my hands on. Photography is more than taking pictures; it’s storytelling, each image a chapter, a quiet record of the journey, growth, and moments that shape life.

Photography has a unique power to convey that which words cannot. It holds emotion, light, timing, and presence in a single frame. Whether chasing natural light in everyday scenes or creating more intentional portraits, the goal is always the same: to convey emotion through the lens.
